The Vm unit, even genuine will only last around 70k, its designed to wear out.
If you over tighten the bolt it will increase the wear also, or use the wrong belt length.
I mean the fan hub pulley, not the viscous fan itself, the big round metal pulley the belt runs on to spin the engine fan. Any penetrating oil will do
