I've run a ctek250s for 6 years. Very simple to install. Mounted inside the subwoofer and fed from factoy wiring. Charges 3x 20Ah deep cycle batteries in the tub.
Happily runs a 50L Waeco and camp lights plus occasinal other bits.
Only draws from main battery when alternator is over 12.5v. No relays no extra cables front to rear, all hidden in wifes daily driver. Ctek has a solar input if needed. Draws less than 20amp, never blown the fuse, connected to rear 12v socket wiring. I thought I might need to upgrade wiring but all good so far.
