JK power steering leak
My JK('07 CRD) has developed a leak from the high pressure hose after a weekend of hitting corrugations. Leaking from the nut under the pump. I figured it just needed a new o-ring. Tried a new one same size as the stock, still leaked. Tried one with the same ID but thicker, still leaked. Eventually got it to stop leaking after wrapping the end fitting/o-ring mounting seat with thread tape. Lasted until I had it off road today and the steering was loaded up.
I'm thinking maybe the flare on the end of the hose is damaged, but wanted some input before I try order a new one. I recall seeing a post somewhere about issues with the bottom hose, but I don't think it was related to the o-ring..
