After some minor death wobble attempts, this weekend I got the full taste of major death wobble, so I got pissed and started tackling the actual problem:
The original holes in the axle are enlarged, the old shouldered bolt was moving around despite my best efforts to tighten it and to make matters worse, the shoulder was not long enough to engage the second hole in the bracket. Plus, the polyurethane bushings are way too soft and their sleeves now have play inside the bushings. Adding up all the play...I'm happy it didn't wobble like crazy before.
Step 1: Cut out the dinky 3mm thick trackbar bracket and fabricobble one out of 6mm material. Now the bolt will have a tougher time wearing out the hole.
Come at me, fun police, but give me some time to finish then I can put on my flame suit.
