Thanks for your help guys. It sounds like it might be the CPS. Is it easy to get at to replace by an amateur weekend mechanic like myself ??
I test drove the XJ on the weekend and its starts fine when cold but after a few klms it cuts out. Did this a few times.
Where would a get a new CPS from ? and any idea on cost.
