That looks good Imaz. Maybe where you have those extensions, some aluminium blocks could be cut from bar stock or something to that height, drill and tap them. Underneath or inside car but under roof you could use a long ali strip the whole length and bolt through from underside into the roof blocks on top. The bolt would help to make the mount more solid then you can just use a nut on the leftover thread to hold the roof rack frame on? If that makes sense?
