I've had repair/service work done in the past to trailer mounted gen sets & been told that the starting battery was replaced- to check on this I went to the battery & shone a torch on the casing & sure enough there was the date & my signature in black marker pen on the casing from 3 years earlier. Needless to say when I pointed this out to the service guy the battery got replaced the same day.
