Thread revival.....
After 12 months of this "workaround" I've decided it is giving me the 5hits too much with Doubletwist being too glitchy and slow. So now looking at another option.
What I am looking at now is a portable SSD since they have come way down in price. The idea is to get one big enough to hold my entire library then export all my music to the SSD. I experimented with a portable HDD and it seems to work but I would be concerned that the HDD would fail eventually due to vibration from being in the card. Also a SDD would read a lot faster than a HDD.
So my question is, has anyone used an SSD via USB for music? I might just bight the bullet and get one then give everyone feedback.
