Locking hubs do not mean locked diff, it's still an open diff regardless if it has locking hubs or not.
Totally admit my original concept of 4x4 was based around the fact of locking in a pair of axles, avoiding the " Open slip" issues!

When "part time" is selected, this is locking up front and back shafts with no slip!
"Full fime" can be used a daily drive selection. With slip/clutch..

Perhaps a typo, or Adrian didnt really know either!
