I have a auto locker in the front in the XJ.
It’s been there for about 70,000 klm, had it for years. You need to learn to throttle off , off and on , in those slippery bits, to maintain steering. driving around town there is roughness through the auto locker on tight full lock fast turns so slow the tight turns down.
I use 4wd full time on dirt roads , just got to remember to throttle off for specific steering control,
