Odo 102,000 kms and 100,000 km service done.
No previous indications that anything is amiss with my Trailhawk.
- Start car
- Trying to select D - the lever goes thru R with a disconcerting clunk, then gets stuck in N
- Lever will not move to D or R
- Dash is showing "Service Park Brake" with a warning light
- For the next 3 or 4 minutes gear lever is stuck until it suddenly, and smoothly, moves back through R to P
- Turn off car, wait overnight, try again in the morning
- Repeat steps 1-5
Got the car towed to the mechanic who services it.
His scan tool showed a bunch of error codes all related to ECU.
Car is now in the hands of Adelaide City Jeep.
