5W40 became the specced oil for CRD's back in 2013 I think it was, and if your meaning the Castrol Magnetec I'm using well its Magentec Diesel DX 5W40 which is fully synthetic and C3 spec so compatiable with DPF systems, not all Magnetec Diesel Oils are of the same spec so labels need to be read fully....
