Right at the monent there is a facebook page SRT/Trackhawk Australia page re lifters failing in new SRTs 3000 ks up to 130000 for no good reason other than poor quality parts ,bad engine design etc even oil may come into the equation. Good Service records appear to make no difference. Two guys in Aust are about to start legal action re this problem which FCA has ignored for years They have started a private facebook link re this problem and have many owners joining in Aust ,At least one a day. This is a massive problem in US.Even near new Rams here with the hemi motor getting the lifter failure.I have a 60000 k as new SRT and follow this with interest.PS The price of these has SRTs have gone up around $10000.00 since I started looking a year ago. There appears to be no current fix ,Even new crate motors are failing.Engine rebuilders Eg Dontex in Melbourne specialise in rebuilding these hemis. No new oil pump. However whether their motors are still ok when reaching the failure ks of 50000ks on will be interesting.4 out of 10 I looked at had had rebuilds ornew engines fitted. ! The SRT is a great ride ,however its like playing russian roulette everytime you start it up.
