In my limited experience if the pump craps out your towed as system is full of metal bits, if you manage to drive in usually just starting to wear and pressure loss. Again its not a Jeep thing, always amazes me that folk seem to have this thing that if its Jeep its only Jeep, fail to see that they are made up of a mix of parts and tech common to a lot of vehicles, fluids are just rebadged mixes etc.........
