vm diesel oil consumption
Just driven a 1,000km from Perth to Carnavon with the caravan.
Car ran perfectly.
Checked the oil and it was down to the minimum mark.
Now i did an oil and filter change just before leaving perth ,put in 7.2 litres but not sure if i checked the actual dip stick level or not.
No oil leaks at all under the engine, coolant all good, engine temps all good.
Ive added about 1 litre to bring it up to max level.
Car is running perfectly !!
Any ideas, is 7.2 litres the fill capacity with a filter ?
