Only relevant because intermittent problems are THE biggest pita...interesting you say the new battery created no change....higher output could 'mask' an underlying 'bad joint'...but...thats not your issue....poor wiring(ie: internally corroded) ????....corroded earth ???....loose pin in sensor clip ???....loose wire into a sensor clip ????....unfortunately nothing easy...as you have stated...and the wizards have advised...bugger
