Always run Penrite 5w40 Enviro in my 2010 WH GC diesel from near new.Has DPF ,now done 250000 ks no problems.Most of the time towing a 2.5 t JOB.pop.
Much more blowby in this Merc engined GC than my other,a 2012 WK2 GC .VM engine. I do not trust some of these oil companies oil listings eg some still state
5w40 syn for the WK2 diesels ! This grade was changed to 5w40 around 6 years ago in a world wide urgent TSB!.And running ATF in 2005 .10 WH diesels transfercases,another error in many listings!
