It must have been optioned with a CD player from new. Did your Laredo also have the smaller screen?
Laredo's are supposed to have non-CD player and the smaller U-connect screen. Generally speaking, the larger U-connect screen is coupled with the CD player, and the sound system with the sub woofer (mid-tier stereo system in the WK2's).
