Well I dug around out the back, found 1 x genuine pan and 2 x aftermarket ones and actually I couldn't tell the difference other than the ZF label on the Jeep one, I destroyed one threaded section to confirm the threaded section on each pan was a molded part of the pan, a nut looking affair which has drain slots as well as the centre hole, so the nut is only holding about half the thread face of the plug and relies on the O ring big time to seal, in all 3 the threaded section was part of the pan mold, the correct pan for the WK2 has 4 magnets and a deeper pan while the car type ones have a shallower pan and only 2 magnets, I have one of them unused still in packet, big argument with the so called supplier over that one.......
I will just keep it until I downgrade to a Beemer....
