Sadly many spare part hoses still come with the black O-Rings. Even the new ones from Mercedes! You need to exchange them!
Green:
FKM, also known as Viton made for blended fuels.
Mercedes introduced them, when They found out the problem with leaking fuel lines.
Layback is absolutely correct with his statement!
You can get the green ones at any Mercedes dealer. It is a good procedure to change them, when you change the fuel filter anyway.
When installing the fresh O-Rings make sure to lift them into position- if you roll them into the groove, the next leakage is pre-programmed.

Thanks for the info. I just got a new set of O-rings for the fuel line from Europe and they are genuine MB and green so I guess I am safe here.
After the comment with the cheap fuel, I stopped fuelling up at this servo I was using for the last 1 or 2 months. Just one refill at my regular servo already seem to put a stop on the leak. Will work thru the exchange of the O-rings sooner or later anyway.
Thanks again for the tips.
