The thing is you have to find the odd one out amongst all the data, I would cross my fingers............. if one was a cluey sparky type a resisistor in the line could have shown a value the ECU would be happy with but what a lot of ginning around....
Bit like some changes you could do on the WG merc engine, if you got it wrong it would report a false outside temp as way colder and could end up overcharging and cooking the battery, the change had nothing to do with the battery system though so would be a big surprise......so many sensors ...
