If you could find an injector that fitted that had smaller orifices it would not change the fuel use because it operates closed loop that is the ecu will change the injector time interval based on the O2 signal to correct the air fuel ratio. Smaller injectors would limit max power because that is when the system operates in open loop. It would likely bring on the ‘money’ light as the ecu would see the longer time pulse as out of normal range.
