Long time no post...

So, after driving the car in this horrible state for half of last year, I have finally gotten around to replacing the injector. I have ordered a replacement injector, bolt, copper washer and grease. Removed the old injector and it seems pretty charred up to me; this must be why the car was adding +5 to injector 3? I wonder if I can clean this injector and re-use it later?

The bore hole is pretty clean, but there's a bit of black stuff on the seat. I tried cleaning it out carefully with a thin wire brush but didn't have much luck. I'll attack it again tomorrow, after seeing if there's something I can get the gunk out with.
