I worked out what wire it was just in front of the battery.
Tapped into that for signal to a relay.
The power wire for the relay came off the power on the side of the fuse box through a suitable fuse.
The other signal connection on the relay goes via the switch to earth.
You bring the wire inside via the loom hole under the radiator bottle.
