Maybe I'm just a bit behind in the debate here, but I'm a bit bemused as well. If you are after a "lift" less than 30mm then it's no big deal - fit coil spacers and enjoy your OEM ride.
Adjust bump stops and lift the shocker mounts the same and away you go!
Tops in $$$ is bugger all. Cut the spacers out of insertion rubber and glue them together - 3 at 12mm = 36mm lift. Four of the same equals just under a 4" lift. Fit them above the coils and drop your bumpstops the same.
Get a front end alignment directely after!!!!
Go for longer shockers or lift the shocker mount to suit.....
Easy DIY lift...and if you are worried about rear end weight, load up the Cherokee with all the gear and measure the rear end sag. Build spacers to suit.
Be warned that going over 36mm means UCA and LCA will be over their limit and more will be needed to be done as in the more you modify - the more you need to modify.....
