Gents,

I have installed an 8mm strut top plate over the top of my front struts, same beast as CRDSTU. I have jacked it up today to see what it looks like at full droop/flex to find my UBJ getting quite intimate with my 2nd from the bottom coil winding. I rested a piece of paper in there then jacked it up. It was held fast so it has a bit of weight on it. I have found a small hole in the boot on one side, the other doesnt have a hole. The only question is, did the hole get created at install of the OTT spacer or was it due to the friction of the two mating faces. I am running a OME 40mm lift with the OTT spacer.

Is it possible to replace the boot by itself or is it a non servicable component & im up for a set of Jeepinbyal Upper A arms?

After yesterdays run in the sand I expect there to be lots of sand in there grinding away my UBJ.
