These were not used in Jeeps though. Original question I think was referring to "Turbo Hydro Matic" as is pressed into the pan on early FSJ autos. These are Turbo 400 internals in a case with an AMC belhousing pattern. Very early ones were GM case with an adapter plate.[/QUOTE]

I realise that i was just saying that the turbo 400 isnt the only turbo hydro matic transmission to try and avoid any confusion
