Was aware that Panhard mount would need to be changed, but can't see a problem with the sway bar mounts.....guess that comes in the future when I get the uprights & tie-rod back.
Worth doing to a Dana 30.........I think it is. After several years of fairly hard wheeling I've only broken two 27 spline axles. As most of my friends run Nissans with 35s & 37s, I find my 285/70R17s are big enough with my small pumpkins. As I am more interested in rocks than mud, I find radials, (with their lower weight & superior traction), suit me better than heavier bias ply tyres.
As I had all the bits for the conversion lying around, all I'm paying for is a bit of machining and I can live with that. BTW, I am a tyre dealer & have been modifying suspension for 4WDs & race cars for about 35 years.
