I bought this from Quadratec to replace my bent standard carrier.
It's high quality, powder coated and 5mm thick. It fits to the standard tailgate and retains the high level brake light mounts. It lifts your spare about 1 to 2 inches up and further away from the tailgate. Ideal for those of you with big wheels and tyres, for me it's a bit over the top.
I did a trial fitting, took some photos then took it off.
It cost me $160 after shipping from the US to Australia.
I'm looking for someone who wants to trade their standard undamaged tyre carrier plus $100 for the HD carrier. Depending on your location we have to see what to do about postage. Ideally we meet, swap parts and money.
