Hey guys having some trouble with my mums 2006 3.0ltr crd comander so a few weeks ago the alternater died so replaced that (not a fun task) then whilst under the hood decided to take care of some problems as this car has had a hard life before we got it.

so serviced it put some ingector cleaner in the tank and fixed a boost leak or to now after about an hour to and hour and a half of driving the vehicle starts to surge and the vehicle becomes almost undriveable left scratching my head as i have not been in the vehicle when it dose it has an engine light on did have a flashing red lightning bolt on the dash until i fixed the boost leak have tried to use the on board diagnostics system but shows no codes really beating my head against to wall trying to figure it out any help would be much appreciated
