Hi, As my spare is a BFG 265 65 my original floor does not lock down (though still sits ok for general use), I went for a replacement floor when using the fridge made from Ply with some carpet glued to it. Mounted the fridge slide to this and used an extended bolt (for securing the spare tyre) to secure the fridge slide floor and at the same time secures the spare.
Don't have any pictures though this is a similar concept that I copied. Works well and no problem with extended fridge weight causing and issues.
