I am running Penrite full synthetic 80/140 in my rear diff.
I have the factory rear locker, same as the rubi but 3.73 ratio.
I have never had a problem with the locker operating cold or hot and don't expect to.
I changed to the 80/140 to follow the manual recomendation and it was time to check the diffs after some deep water crossings.
From memory the manual does state 75/140W 'full synthetic' when towing....
I do a bit of towing so like the idea of having the good stuff.
