Unsure if KL's have 4WD so transfercases but here goes...Service over and above the recommended service schedule and you will benefit in the long run...NO such thing as 'lifetime' oil in trans...timing chains, although much more durable than timing belts, still stretch with age/wear/use...cost of a timing belt/chain failure is far more than prohibitive...change it...BOTH diff oils should be changed around the 30-40k cycle mark (depending on your use of the vehicle ie: towing, heavy 4WDing, city or highway use)...coolant is good for around 100k(depending on what type of coolant being used) but some draw that out to more than that....PTU is Power Take off Unit...unless your running one it doesnt apply..if you are...service it....
Most service engine oils, oil filter n fuel filters around the 10k mark cycle...some more some less...air filter 20k(again depending on conditions and vehicle use)...diffs and transfercase 30-40k...coolant 100k...tranny oil 40-60k depending upon use...that is a VERY rough guide....useage, climate, odometer, how its driven all play a big part...DONT use the handbook as a GOOD guide...it ISNT...it is under servicing so as to sell more cars 'promising' cheaper running costs...loads of threads on here re: servicing..
Just remember...its a machine...it WILL breakdown...preventative maintenance is exact what it says...preventative maintenance....
Probably didnt answer your question but have given you a 'guideline'.
GOOD LUCK !
