Anyway, my two bob on the 8 'v' crd...

I've got the 4.7. It's great fun.

But...
Personally, I'd like the diesel version for touring so much more.
Problem is, they are getting old, k's piled on. I'd get one, rebuild it myself (just did my diesel Vito 18mths ago, and as Layback said, won't part with it).
I'd only ever recommend some one get an older small capacity, high revving, turbo crd, if it was in mint low km condition, or they enjoyed working on them themselves. Because shit gets so expensive realllllll quick otherwise.

Edit. I forgot. I also have a 4.0 WJ. Thought about getting that back on the road, but it's a parts donor now.
