Worth checking out if and when any of the calipers have been changed, especially the rear ones.
Changed my rear ones twice on my 2009.
Dont know if it has been the river crossings or just English weather or both, which you may not get in your hotter climate.
Front ones only changed the once at around 120,000 km but the rear ones are smaller.
Also the brake lines behind the drivers side inner wheel well liner are well clear.
Was a TSB on this but they only cut away some of the liner.
One of mine mustn't have been seated correctly in the guide / holder near the ABS and unknowingly still rubbed on the liner, wore thin and luckily broke when changing out the brake line rather than on the highway.
