Righto fellas, I need your help!!!
I have a similar issue to WH3.0 where i have a knocking noise when cold (sounds like a timing chain to me) when the engine is warm and I park the car leaving the engine running I can hear a tapping/knocking/slapping noise coming from the front of the engine!! (inconsistent rhythm)
I have just changed the oil following the procedure (except I waited longer than 15mins to start) I used Penrite HPR 5 5W-40 & a ryco filter.
The noise started immediately following the oil change and always goes away when warm unless left idling and there is an inconsistent tapping/knocking /slapping noise that appears!!
Any ideas would be much appreciated on this issue!!
