Re MJOC - anyone can join with a different brand, as long as the 10% maximum is not full - they don't ned to be friends of members etc, and each year it is first in, best dressed.
A social member cannot own a 4wd at all, and they cannot drive on trips (except E grade). They can drive a club members car if they have done driver training.
Their membership is obviously cheaper.
