Don't worry about the airbags...
as long as we can see mounted cell phones and accessories like bluetooth devices in the expansion area of driver and passenger I wouldn't be to worried.
Best thing I have seen were legs placed to relax on the dashboard while driving- takes a while to get the bones out of the brain.
