The autos need it, the stock setup is junk and if the trans needs to slip a lot which it would have done on the dirt roads, the fluid temps rises very quickly. The heat from the trans fluid radiates into the coolant radiator and intercooler and leads to rising engine temps (if the trans hasn't overheated already). Get a proper auto trans cooler and its all good.

Yeah its on the list before I head up the cape in May. I thought the trans might be the issue.
