Just fitted he new handbrake cable. Hopefully this time it will last
. This time they stripped the plastic coating on the wire and crimped without solder. I reckon I was speaking to the father at the brake place last Mon and it sounds like he might have done the cable repair this time. He did give me the impression that heating the cable was not such a good idea. Alhough he did not specifically say it, the tone of his voice kinda gave it away that the solder was not a geat idea.......
