The engine now has 235000km. I have noticed that the idle often hang around 1100rpm before it after a while (could be several minutes) before settlling on the normal 750-800. This happens quite often, almost always. It does not have any misfires. It runs smooth as silk and is easy to start. In my diesel manual there is a few sensors that controls the injector pump.

If you are lucky, moving the injector body about 1/10mm may improve things.
