Check out my Ride(s)
Default asymmetric factory roof rails

Hi all,

I picked up my Overland MY18 yesterday and am having some issues fitting a set of Rhino Vortex RVP Black 2 Bar Roof Racks.

There's a few possibilities:

1) The holes in the chrome roof rails for the torx screws are not symmetrical, one rail appears to be backwards compared to the other. Is this normal?? Hopefully the photos explain what I mean.

2) The instructions for the rhino roof racks are wrong. I can get the mounts to fit except I have to use one of the "front" brackets at the back on the passenger side (plus drill through the black covering) and use the "back" bracket at the front.

3) The most likely explanation is that I am an idiot but wanted to double check!

Thanks for any help,
Matt
