Jks quick discos knocking
My Jeep has seen several rounds of suspension upgrades and I’ve been chasing knocking noises all the way. I had the shorter discos for up to 3” lift, now that I’m at 4” I have the longer ones installed. I’ve got the ride nice and have eliminated all knocks except for one which happens at low speeds when cornering over a bump. So entering or exiting a driveway I happens every time. If I pull the disconnects the knocking disappears and thinking back, I reckon I must have had the same issues with the shorter discos cause I’d never notice knocking while out wheeling (disconnected) but would hear it when back on the he tarmac.
My mechanic says the bushes in the discos are good, but the bloke at pedders says they’re not. They look fine to me. I can’t see any where that the swaybar or links are hitting something, but I feel that this is probably what’s happening. Any clues?
