I know a guy that runs a diesel car (old not CRD) on ATF with no problems. A bit of oil in fuel doesnt hurt. Some truck drivers dispose of their sump oil into the fuel tank.
The study shows that there is little if any positive outcomes from adding 2 stroke oil to diesel. If any, there could be negative results for modern diesels.
