2) are motor mounts the same for WG as for WJ, I.e. Is motor mounted identically in left side driver and right side driver execution? I assume rockauto sells for WJ/left side driver jeeps?

Mate, rockauto it. LHD and RHD are the same. WG same as WJ. 5day delivery
