These issues can arise with any newish car. Read up on any forum and you will find many issues with Toyota's and the Nissans, not just our Jeeps. The support and willingness for the average grease monkey to have a crack at fixing a Jeep is the problem. My mate had an issue with his timing belt on his Troopy out the back of nowhere and was able to have it fixed by the local bloke, I dare say that wouldn't happen with the Jeep. It just seems that Jeeps have a bad rep here. My mate reckons in the states every second car is a Jeep.
