I bought a Renegade 200A/60% inverter unit from Tradetools, excellent little machine, being an inverter it runs really smooth, very easy to set with the digital read out and welds very nicely, I personally like MIG's but didn't want the gas issue but with this unit and various sized rods I can cover most of the jobs I would ever do, I have 1.6mm, 2.5mm & 3.25mm.
I have used it for wleding up exhaust systems, fabricating my drawer unit plus lots of other jobs, although it does require a 15A outlet which is not too difficult......
