soup -Pretty sure somebody commented in the Lift/Tyres forum that they used some door stops from Bunnings as a cheap alternative for spaces for their Spare Wheel.
Have you got a photo of the door stops and how they are used?

Mate you definitely won't need a spacer. I've got 285/70X17 KM2s' on my stock Rubi rims and they fit no problem. Just a bit tighter against the rubber stops.
