Is it because they are bringing the Commander back?

There are some unconfirmed reports on the net that there will be a 2017 Commander which remains unchanged from what last rolled off the production line.

If these reports prove to be false, isn't the 6.4L Hemi SRT GC the flagship in FCA Jeep stable? Why would they bother going head to head with a Range Rover/Cayenne/X5 price tag when they have this kind of performance for a fraction of the price?
