So i tried a DIY dip stick, it was above 100mm, so lowered it down to about 73mm, still pretty noisy on the highway though
thinking I will replace the filter and gasket, and refill with fluid (Found a place in QLD that will sell the dipstick). Only 2 weeks till my Cape trip so pretty keen to get it in the best condition before then!
